The Indian Navy has commenced the registration process for Agniveer SSR, MR 2024. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website at joinindiannavy.gov.in until May 27, 2024. Applicants must have been born between November 1, 2003, and April 30, 2007, and possess a 10+2 qualification with Mathematics and Physics from recognized Boards of School Education under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Alternatively, candidates with a three-year diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Central, State, or UT recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% aggregate marks are eligible. Candidates who have completed a two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects, such as Physics and Mathematics, from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with an aggregate score of 50%, are also eligible to apply. It is important to note that only unmarried Indian male and female candidates can apply for enrollment as Agniveer in the Indian Navy.
The selection process for Agniveer (SSR) – 02/2024 batch will comprise two stages: Stage I – Shortlisting (Indian Navy Entrance Test – INET), and Stage II – ‘PFT, Written Examination, and Recruitment Medical Examination.’ Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 550 to register for the Indian Navy Agniveer 2024 examination. The exam will be conducted online and will consist of 100 objective-type (multiple-choice) questions in both Hindi and English. Each question carries 1 mark, and the duration of the exam is 1 hour.
