The Indian Railways is gearing up for the festive season by introducing new train services to cater to the anticipated influx of passengers traveling between Mumbai and Bihar. The new LTT Mumbai-Raxaul Superfast Specials will operate weekly, commencing on October 6th, 2023, and continuing until February 2nd, 2025. This initiative aims to ease the expected passenger rush during the Diwali and Chhat Puja celebrations.
To further accommodate the increased travel demand, a special train service between Raxaul and Mumbai LTT has also been launched, starting on October 4th, 2023, and running until January 31st, 2025. These special services, announced by Central Railway on X (formerly Twitter), are designed to provide travelers with a convenient and reliable means of transport during these busy periods.
