The equestrian events at the Paris Olympics are set to begin on July 27th and conclude on August 6th. All events will be held at the iconic Château de Versailles, a site steeped in history. Originally a simple hunting lodge, the Château de Versailles became the home of King Louis XIV’s court in 1682. In 1883, it was transformed into a national museum open to the public and was the first French site to be recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.
India will be represented in this prestigious event by Anush Agarwalla. Anush has a strong track record of success, having secured two medals at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou – a gold in team dressage and a bronze in individual dressage. As the sole Indian representative, Anush will be carrying the hopes of the nation on her shoulders as she competes against the world’s best equestrian athletes.
