India’s Longest Vande Bharat Express to Connect Delhi and Patna, Launching Just in Time for Diwali and Chhath Puja

Get ready for a festive travel experience like no other! Indian Railways is gearing up to launch its longest Vande Bharat Express, connecting the capital city of Delhi with Patna, the heart of Bihar. This new route is set to debut just in time for the Diwali and Chhath Puja celebrations, catering to the significant surge in travel demand during these festivals.

The Vande Bharat Express will operate on a trial basis initially, offering passengers a swift and comfortable journey between the two cities. The train will make stops at key locations along the route, including Arrah, Buxar, DDU, Prayagraj, and Kanpur, covering a distance of approximately 994 kilometers.

With its impressive speed, the Vande Bharat Express is expected to complete the Delhi to Patna journey in just 11 hours and 35 minutes, outpacing even the Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express and the New Delhi-Rajendra Nagar Tejas Rajdhani.

The launch of this new train service is a timely addition to the Indian Railway network, considering the high demand for transportation during Diwali and Chhath Puja. Delhi boasts a large Bihari population, and many will be returning home for the festivals, making this new service a welcome addition to the travel options available.
