Indian shooters Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Maheshwari Chauhan are set to battle for bronze in the Mixed Team Trap final at 6:30 PM IST against China’s Yiting Jiang and Jianlin Lyu.
The final will be a tense competition, with the starting positions determined by the qualification ranking and potential shootoffs. The team with the lower Bib number will shoot first on each station. Before the start, athletes can test fire but will not be able to view the targets, which will be revealed during the presentation of qualified teams.
Each Mixed Team, consisting of four athletes, will start at station 0 and compete on stations 3, 4, 5, 3, 4, and 5 until a winner is declared. The shooting sequence will alternate between teams after each station, with the second team shooting first on station 4, then the first team on station 5, and so on.
The competition involves each athlete from a team shooting two doubles (one normal and one reverse double) and four individual shots (eight shots per team). The combined score for each team is carried forward after each station. The Mixed Team with the highest combined score after six stations will be declared the winner.
The preparation time limit on each station is 30 seconds, strictly monitored by a designated referee using an electronic timer.
