India’s Sri Lanka Tour Schedule Revised: T20Is and ODIs to Commence Later

A revised schedule for India’s tour of Sri Lanka was announced on Saturday, impacting the dates for both the T20I and ODI series. The two teams will now lock horns in a three-match T20I series, followed by an equal number of One-Day Internationals.

The first T20I, initially planned for July 26, has been shifted to July 27. The second T20I will be played on July 28, followed by the series finale on July 30, instead of the previously scheduled July 29.

Similarly, the ODI series will kick off on August 2, a day later than originally planned, with subsequent matches scheduled for August 4 and August 7. These changes mean all six matches of the tour will now take place over a slightly extended period compared to the initial schedule.

The revised dates provide a slightly altered timeline for the exciting cricketing encounter between India and Sri Lanka, promising a thrilling series across both formats.
