After a two-decade hiatus, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is making a grand return to Serbia. A new partnership between IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in the hospitality industry, and Delta Holding will bring the prestigious InterContinental brand back to Belgrade. This exciting development marks a significant milestone for both companies, setting the stage for a luxurious addition to the city’s skyline.

The InterContinental Belgrade is scheduled to open its doors by the end of 2026, promising an exceptional experience for discerning travelers. The hotel will boast 203 meticulously designed rooms, catering to both leisure and business travelers. Guests can choose from a range of accommodation options, including 28 Premium Rooms, 15 Junior Suites, 2 Superior Suites, 2 Executive Suites, and a breathtaking Presidential Suite that offers panoramic city views.

The hotel’s design will seamlessly blend timeless architecture with modern amenities, creating a luxurious haven in the heart of the city. Guests will be treated to a stunning sky pool, an elegant rooftop restaurant and bar, and a spacious terrace featuring fine dining options. Additional facilities include a state-of-the-art spa and wellness center, a grand ballroom for special events, a sophisticated lobby lounge, a chic café, a patisserie, and versatile meeting spaces, making the InterContinental Belgrade a perfect choice for business conferences, corporate gatherings, and social events.

Strategically located in the newly developed ‘Delta District,’ the hotel will be positioned at the heart of the city’s business and financial hub. This prime location offers seamless access to the newly renovated Sava Centar, the largest convention and exhibition space in the region, making it a hub for both business and leisure travelers.

IHG currently operates three hotels in Serbia, all situated in the capital city: Hotel Indigo Belgrade, Crowne Plaza Belgrade, and Holiday Inn Belgrade. Two more Holiday Inn Express hotels are in the pipeline. The addition of the InterContinental Belgrade will expand IHG’s portfolio in the Balkans to nearly 20 properties, spanning Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, and Northern Republic of Macedonia.

The return of the InterContinental brand to Serbia underscores IHG’s commitment to growth and excellence in the region. The new hotel will enhance the company’s presence in the Balkans, offering a new level of luxury and service to an increasingly vibrant market. As the opening date approaches, anticipation is building for what promises to be a landmark addition to Belgrade’s hospitality scene. The InterContinental Belgrade is set to become a beacon of luxury, blending classic elegance with modern amenities in one of Europe’s most dynamic cities.
