Intrepid, a global leader in responsible travel, has launched its first destination management company in Jordan, enhancing its presence in the Middle East. With a focus on responsible tourism, Intrepid has established a new team in Amman to operate its nine small group tours in Jordan this summer. The company plans to expand its offerings in the coming years.
Intrepid’s Managing Director for EMEA, Zina Bencheikh, expressed confidence in Jordan’s potential as a destination for global travelers, even amidst the current challenges. The establishment of a dedicated DMC will allow Intrepid to enhance its offerings, introduce new purpose initiatives, and diversify its product. Intrepid currently brings 6,000 travelers to Jordan annually from Europe, North America, and Australia, with the aim of doubling this number by 2030.
