Apple has long been criticized for not including a Calculator app on its iPads, despite the presence of the feature on both iPhones and Macs. However, according to a trusted source cited by MacRumors, Apple is finally planning to bring the Calculator app to its tablets with the release of iPadOS 18. The app is expected to be unveiled at WWDC 2024 on June 10 and will be available on all iPads that can run iPadOS 18, which includes all models that are currently compatible with iOS 17, except for the iPad (6th generation), iPad Pro 12.9 (2nd generation), and iPad Pro 10.5. In addition to the Calculator app, iPadOS 18 is rumored to bring a number of other improvements to the iPad experience, including the arrival of the iPhone’s Journal app and AI-powered enhancements.
