Iran Unveils 600+ Investment Packages for Tourism Growth

Iran Launches Comprehensive Tourism Investment Drive

In a bid to revitalize and expand its tourism industry, Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Ministry has unveiled more than 600 investment packages. This ambitious initiative is aimed at attracting substantial investment from both domestic and international sources.

The 636 packages have been meticulously developed through a collaborative effort between government entities and the private sector. They encompass a wide range of tourism ventures, including those related to water resources, water therapy, and water-based recreational activities.

Ahmad Tajari, an official in charge of tourism investments, emphasized the importance of joint efforts in bolstering the tourism sector. He highlighted the involvement of various governmental bodies across different sectors, as well as the strong commitment from businesses to contribute to the growth and development of the industry.

The investment packages also reflect a focus on local government engagement, with 143 packages crafted in partnership with municipal authorities. This underscores the recognition of the importance of local participation in tourism initiatives.

The unveiling of these investment packages marks a significant milestone in Iran’s ongoing efforts to position itself as a premier destination on the global tourism map. By harnessing the collective expertise and resources of both public and private stakeholders, the initiative aims to foster sustainable tourism development and create a conducive environment for qualified investors.
