Tehran has proudly introduced a new air defense system, an advanced version of its Bavar-373. This sophisticated system is claimed to possess the capability to intercept American stealth jet fighters, making it a significant addition to Iran’s defensive arsenal. The unveiling of the Bavar-373 during a military parade on April 17 marked a milestone in Iran’s military advancements. Often compared to the renowned Russian S-300 and the American Patriot missile systems, the Bavar-373 boasts an impressive range of over 186 miles. This extended reach enables it to detect and engage aerial threats from a substantial distance. Moreover, its exceptional altitude capacity of up to 75 miles allows it to effectively defend against aircraft and missiles operating at high altitudes. By incorporating advanced technologies and capabilities, Iran’s air defense capabilities have been further strengthened with the introduction of the Bavar-373 system.
