Isabella’s journey with brain cancer began in October when she was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor known as medulloblastoma. She underwent her first chemo treatment, followed by a blood transfusion and an MRI of her eyes. Despite the challenges she has faced, Isabella celebrated the completion of her radiation treatment in January.
In a candid interview during ‘Good Morning America,’ Isabella acknowledged the difficulties she has endured, stating that the experience has been ‘rough, challenging, and very hard.’ However, she remains optimistic and believes that ‘time will heal and things will get back to – I can’t really say normal because there’s not really a normal now in my life.’
Michael Strahan, Isabella’s father, expressed his admiration for her resilience, saying, ‘It is tough to see her go through it, but I know she’s a tough young lady and she’s going to make it through it.’
