Following his suspension for violating the NFL’s gambling policy while with the Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles defensive back Isaiah Rodgers has been reinstated by the league and is now eligible to play in the 2024 season. The reinstatement was announced on Tuesday and is effective immediately, allowing Rodgers to participate in all team activities. Rodgers’ suspension resulted in his release from the Colts, but he was later signed by the Eagles in August 2023. As a sixth-round draft pick in 2020, Rodgers has appeared in 45 games, including 10 starts. His statistics include 10 passes defensed, three interceptions, a forced fumble, and four fumble recoveries. Additionally, he has returned 61 kicks, averaging 27.0 yards per return. With the implementation of a new kickoff rule, Rodgers’ value to the Philadelphia Eagles is expected to increase in the 2024 season.
