The highly anticipated film ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’, starring Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Naina Grewal, and Jibraan Khan, is facing setbacks in finding distributors for a nationwide release. Despite being ready for release on June 28, 2024, the film is reportedly struggling to attract major distributors due to the uncertain state of the movie business.
According to sources, the performances of some recent high-profile films have raised concerns among exhibitors and distributors, leading them to adopt a cautious approach. This has resulted in delays for ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’, as no major distributor has yet expressed interest in giving the film a theatrical release.
However, producer Ramesh Taurani has refuted claims that the film is struggling. He stated that the only delay has been due to pending song shoots and that the release date of June 28th remains unchanged.
Rohit Saraf, one of the film’s lead actors, previously clarified that ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ is not a direct sequel to Shahid Kapoor’s 2003 film. He emphasized that the only connection between the two films is the franchise name.
The film is a production of Ramesh Taurani’s Tips Films and is directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, known for his work on the Netflix series ‘Mismatched.’
