IsoEnergy Uncovers Six New Drill Targets at Larocque East Project

IsoEnergy Ltd. has made significant progress in its summer exploration program at the Larocque East Project, located in the eastern Athabasca Basin. The company has successfully completed Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) surveys, covering an additional 20 square kilometers of the property. These surveys have identified six new high-priority drill targets, extending the potential of the mineralizing system further east than previously recognized.

The ANT surveys, which have been proven effective in tracing uranium deposits, highlighted a low-velocity response that aligns with alteration and structural disruption seen in previous drilling at the Hurricane deposit. This success has led IsoEnergy to expand its summer drilling program to test these new targets, adding to the previously identified areas (A-D).

Early drilling results have already shown promising signs. Strong hydrothermal alteration has been observed in both the sandstone and basement units, which is a typical indicator of uranium mineralization in the Athabasca Basin. These results, coupled with the confirmation of a correlation between low-velocity zones and alteration, reinforce the high prospectivity of the Hurricane conductor corridor.

Dr. Darryl Clark, Executive Vice President Exploration and Development at IsoEnergy, commented on the findings, stating that the results highlight the potential of the mineralizing system to extend over a significant strike length of more than 9 kilometers. He emphasized the significance of the hydrothermal system, which hosts the high-grade Hurricane deposit, and the potential for multiple deposit zones within this vast area.

IsoEnergy’s continued exploration efforts at the Larocque East Project demonstrate the company’s commitment to unlocking the full potential of this promising area. The discovery of these new targets and the encouraging early drilling results further solidify the project’s position as a key contributor to IsoEnergy’s uranium portfolio.
