The event, scheduled from October 15th to 17th, promises to be a thrilling spectacle, with top shooters from across the globe converging to compete for the coveted title.
While the arrival of these elite athletes is slated for October 13th, the championship, expected to feature several Olympic champions, will see four finals held each day, covering all 12 Olympic shooting events.
Day one will kick off with the air rifle and air pistol events for both men and women, following a pre-event training session on October 14th. Day two will see the rifle 3-position events for men and women, along with the women’s sports pistol and men’s rapid fire pistol competitions. Finally, the third and final day will be dedicated to the shotgun events, including trap and skeet finals for both men and women.
As the host nation, India boasts the largest contingent of shooters, fielding a remarkable 23 athletes, representing a significant proportion of the total 132 shooters from 37 countries. China follows closely with a team of 16 shooters, followed by Italy with 10 and Germany with 9.
