ITA Airways Unveils M.I.C.E. Initiative at IMEX Frankfurt 2024

ITA Airways will participate in IMEX 2024, the leading trade show for the global M.I.C.E. industry. The airline will have a presence at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition center, in the Italy-specific pavilion, Hall 8, at Stand D400. This area is managed by the ENIT (Italian Tourism Board). The local ITA Airways team will connect with prominent figures in the M.I.C.E. sector internationally, including travel agents, tour operators, and trade partners. They will present their services and discuss strategic future directions, priorities, and objectives for this segment.

The highlight of the Frankfurt event is ITA Airways’ new M.I.C.E. initiative, which features a dedicated team and customized conditions tailored to the unique growth opportunities within this market. ITA Airways caters to both small corporate gatherings and large events with over 40 attendees, including trade fairs and conferences, allowing M.I.C.E. clients to travel on an individual basis with preferential offers designed to meet their specific needs. The aim is to facilitate travel that is as effortless, enjoyable, and sustainable as possible.

For individual travel needs, the airline provides specialized airfares in Business, Premium, and Economy Class for travel spanning the week before and after the event. The airline is committed to embodying the essence of Italian excellence, delivering tailored services and an authentic Italian experience throughout each flight. This objective is met through strategic collaborations with iconic Italian brands. For instance, Brunello Cucinelli designed the attire for both the flight and ground crews, Walter De Silva crafted the interiors for ITA Airways’ new planes, and renowned Italian chefs curate the onboard culinary offerings.

ITA Airways began its operations on October 15, 2021, with an initial fleet of 52 aircraft. Central to the airline’s mission is its commitment to embodying the essence of Italian excellence, delivering tailored services and an authentic Italian experience throughout each flight. This objective is met through strategic collaborations with iconic Italian brands. Another cornerstone of the company’s strategy is its focus on sustainability, pursued through ongoing fleet upgrades to include more technologically advanced and efficient planes. The fleet now boasts 93 Airbus aircraft, with 50 being the latest models.

For the current summer season, ITA Airways services 57 destinations, encompassing 16 domestic, 26 international, and 15 intercontinental locations.
