Ivana Trump’s Former Upper East Side Mansion Sees Another Price Cut

Ivana Trump’s former Upper East Side town house has once again seen a price reduction. Originally listed for a hefty $26.5 million in 2022, the opulent five-bedroom, six-bathroom home has struggled to find a buyer. After a $4 million price cut last year, the property is now on the market for $19.5 million, according to Realtor.com.

Trump, the ex-wife of former President Donald Trump, purchased the property for $2.5 million in 1992 following their divorce. Ivana Trump, who was born in Czechia, raised her three children in this very home, where she tragically passed away in 2022 due to injuries sustained during a fall.

The six-story, 8,725-square-foot residence boasts a captivating Baroque-inspired decor. Crystal chandeliers, gilded paneling, silky fabrics, ornate crown moldings, and custom millwork create a truly luxurious ambiance. Each floor is conveniently accessible by elevator.

The dining room, inspired by a room at the Palace of Versailles, features stunning gold wall fabric. The primary suite, occupying the entire third floor, is adorned with a mural and offers a private terrace. The en suite bathroom is a masterpiece of pink onyx marble.

Additional features of the home include a media room with an adjacent kitchen on the lower level, 700 square feet of outdoor space, and a Swedish sauna. The property’s location is undeniably prime, offering close proximity to world-class museums like the Frick, Metropolitan, and Guggenheim, as well as Central Park, and a plethora of shopping and dining options.

While the median list price for an Upper East Side residence in June was $1.8 million, down 2.5% from last year, this mansion remains one of the most expensive properties in the neighborhood. The biggest property listed in the area is a 16,000-square-foot, 10-bedroom, 81/2-bath town house with an asking price of $58 million. The smallest property is a 246-square-foot studio unit listed for $250,000. The most expensive property listed in the area is a seven-bedroom, 121/2-bath town house with an asking price of $65 million.
