The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially declared the results for the Class 8 examinations held in 2024. A total of 5,61,774 students appeared in the exam, and 5,28,962 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 94.16%.
The results are available on the official websites: jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jacresults.com. Students can check their results by entering their roll number and date of birth.
In addition to the overall pass percentage, the result also includes statistics of specific categories: A total of 32,471 students, which accounts for 5.78% of the examinees, were placed in the marginal category. These students will likely receive further instructions or opportunities to improve their scores from the JAC. There are 341 students whose results are currently incomplete. The council is expected to announce the next steps for these students shortly.
