The 26th edition of the Rio Film Festival concluded with a star-studded closing gala on Sunday, October 13th. Among the many notable attendees was Jade Picon, the rising actress known for her role in the Globo telenovela ‘Travessia.’ For this special night, which featured the premiere of ‘Maníaco do Parque,’ a film directed by Maurício Eça and starring Silvero Pereira, Jade opted for an all-white ensemble by Australian designer Christopher Esber.
Esber, who is of Lebanese descent, has been making waves in the fashion world. He recently won the prestigious Andam Grand Prix, a fashion competition founded in 1989 by Nathalie Dufour in partnership with the French Ministry of Culture. Esber’s signature aesthetic, evident in the dress chosen by Jade, combines structured silhouettes with fluid draping, accented by intricate cutouts. Through his designs, he challenges traditional notions of women’s clothing, incorporating elements of tailoring and celebrating sensual femininity with playful elegance.
Completing her look, Jade styled her newly blonde hair loose and opted for a soft, warm-toned makeup, expertly executed by beauty artist Gab. The actress’s choice of Christopher Esber showcased her evolving style and further cemented her status as a rising fashion icon.
