Jelly Roll Steps Away from Internet Due to Weight-Related Bullying

Country music star Jelly Roll has reportedly left the internet due to negative comments about his weight. His wife, TikTok star Bunnie Xo, revealed this information in a sneak peek clip from her podcast, “Dumb Blonde,” which is set to be released on Wednesday.

“My husband got off the internet because he is so tired of being bullied about his f—ing weight,” Bunnie Xo said. “That makes me want to cry because he is the sweetest angel baby.”

Jelly Roll’s last post to his Instagram account was two weeks ago following an appearance on “American Idol.” The singer’s absence from social media is believed to be due to the hurtful comments he has received about his weight.

Reps for Jelly Roll did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Earlier this month, Jelly Roll told People magazine that he had lost 70 pounds in preparation for a 5K he plans to run in May.

“I’ve been really kicking a–, man,” he told the publication. “I’m doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week. I’m doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold plunge every day. I’m eating healthy right now.”

Jelly Roll had expressed his desire to lose more weight after dropping 70 pounds. However, the bullying has derailed his progress and forced him to take a step back from the online world.

Bunnie Xo criticized the negative comments directed at her husband, emphasizing that celebrities are also human beings who should not be subjected to such hurtful behavior.

“The internet can say whatever the f— they want about you. And they say, ‘Well you’re a celebrity, you’re supposed to be able to handle it.’ No the f— we’re not,” Bunnie Xo said.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have been open about their struggles with weight and mental health. The couple has urged people to be kind to others and to avoid spreading negativity online.
