Lopez stars as Atlas Sephered, a character who interacts solely with an AI voice while in a robotic ‘arc suit.’ Without a human co-star, Lopez described her experience as akin to performing a one-woman show.
To fully immerse herself in the role, Lopez relied on her acting instincts and the guidance of director Brad Peyton. She revealed that Peyton’s energetic direction, complete with shouts and descriptions of impending dangers, helped her to bring the character to life.
