JetZero Enlists Aerospace Veteran Rob Dewar to Lead its Blended Wing Body Revolution
Long Beach, California – September 10, 2024 – JetZero, a company spearheading the development of the world’s first commercial blended wing body (BWB) airplane, has announced the appointment of Rob Dewar to its Board of Directors. Dewar, a renowned aerospace innovator with a 38-year career in the industry, joins JetZero after a distinguished tenure at Airbus, where he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the A220 aircraft program, formerly known as the Bombardier CSeries.
Dewar’s leadership in the aerospace industry is deeply rooted in his proven track record of success. He spearheaded the complete development, certification, and market launch of the A220, a testament to his expertise in defining, developing, and delivering aircraft programs. His career at Bombardier also included senior leadership roles in developing iconic aircraft, such as the Bombardier Challenger and Global Express Business Jets, the Canadair Regional Jet family, and the Airbus A321 and A330.
