Jill Dando’s Murder: New Evidence Points to Serbian Assassin
The unsolved brutal murder of Jill Dando 25 years ago has taken a new turn with the discovery of potentially crucial evidence. A facial recognition expert has found striking similarities between an unidentified person caught on CCTV and Milorad Ulemek, a twice-convicted Serbian murderer.
Ulemek led a feared squad of hitmen responsible for targeting opponents of Serbian dictator Slobodan Milosevic. At the time of Dando’s killing, suspicions were raised that her assassination may have been linked to her appeals for Kosovan refugees being massacred.
Tory Researcher Charged with Spying
In a separate development, a Tory Parliamentary researcher has been charged with spying for China. Chris Cash, 29, who was employed by Commons Foreign Affairs Committee chair Alicia Kearns and worked with Security Minister Tom Tugendhat, is accused of breaching the Official Secrets Act along with Christopher Berry, 32.
Calls for Full Investigation
The emergence of new evidence in the Dando case has raised questions about the thoroughness of the original investigation. Jill’s family and loved ones, as well as the public, deserve the truth about her untimely death. The revelation has prompted calls for a full investigation into this potential breakthrough.
