The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially begun the first round of counselling for admissions to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programs through the JKCET 2024 exam. Students who secured ranks from 1 to 500 on the merit list are required to participate in the counselling process. This process will be conducted physically at designated BOPEE offices in Jammu and Srinagar. The counselling schedule is set for June 30th to July 2nd, with specific time slots allotted based on individual ranks.
Candidates must bring all original documents for verification, including their 12th class marks card, domicile certificate, and category certificate (if applicable). Additionally, a counselling fee of Rs. 1,000 needs to be paid on the day of counselling through debit/credit card.
Students who miss their designated counselling date can still participate on the next day, but they will not be eligible to claim seats already allocated to other candidates. If a student is unable to attend due to valid reasons, they can authorize a family member to participate on their behalf with a written letter.
Detailed information about the counselling schedule, seat matrix, and other relevant details will be available soon on the official JKBOPEE website (https://www.jkbopee.gov.in/). It is recommended that candidates regularly check the website for updates and announcements.
