Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is set to close the registration window for admission to its postgraduate courses on Monday, May 27, 2024. Candidates who aspire to join the prestigious university must submit their application forms for MA, MSc, and MCA programs on the official website, jnuee.jnu.ac.in, before 11:50 pm tomorrow. The university will provide a correction window from May 29 to May 30, 2024, allowing candidates to make any necessary changes to their applications.
To be eligible for admission to JNU’s postgraduate courses, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognized institute with a minimum of 50% marks in the 10+2+3 education pattern. Additionally, a valid CUET (PG) 2024 score is required. Candidates applying for MSc courses must have a Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc or B.Tech with a minimum of 55% marks, along with a valid CUET (PG) 2024 score. Similarly, MCA applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a Math-related discipline, have scored at least 55% marks overall, and possess a valid CUET (PG) 2024 score.
The application fee for General, EWS, and OBC category candidates is Rs. 300. SC, ST, and PwD category candidates are required to pay Rs. 150, while foreign national students must pay Rs. 3,320 as the application fee.
JNU’s postgraduate admission process is highly competitive, and candidates are advised to submit their applications well before the deadline to increase their chances of selection. The university will announce the admission results in due course, and selected candidates will be required to complete the admission formalities and pay the requisite fees to secure their seats.
