Joe’s Crab Shack, a popular casual seafood chain, is closing its Deptford, New Jersey location at 2000 Clements Bridge Rd. Their final day in business will be May 26, according to the Courier-Post, who got the exclusive information.
Joe’s Crab Shack COO Terry Turney made this statement regarding the closure: “Joe’s Crab Shack of Deptford first opened in April 2013, so they haven’t been around for a very long time. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of this location. We value our employees and their dedication to the company and are working to relocate them to our nearby sister properties. We thank the community for the many years of support.”
This may not come as a shock, since Joe’s Crab Shack has been closing locations nationwide over the past several years due to declining sales. They filed for bankruptcy in 2021.
