John Terry Celebrates Hall of Fame Induction with Family

Former Chelsea legend John Terry celebrated being inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame on Tuesday night alongside his partner Toni, 47, and their twins Georgie and Summer, 17.

Terry posted a picture of himself stood next to his children on Instagram, who possess an uncanny likeness to their former professional footballer father. The ex-Chelsea and England defender was honoured in a ceremony at HERE at Outernet in London, alongside former team-mate Ashley Cole and ex-Man United star Andy Cole, with the trio of ex-Premier League stars being added to the roll of honour.

Each received medallions with the Premier League logo and their names engraved on them, with Terry, who enjoyed a glittering 22-year career with the west London club, posting a picture of himself celebrating the accolade with his family on social media.

He captioned the picture: ‘A very proud moment tonight being inducted into the @premierleague Hall Of Fame, made even more special having my family with me. @toniterry26 @georgie26terry @sum26terry’

The 43-year-old and his wife Toni married in 2007 in a lavish ceremony at Blenheim Palace.

Terry, who made 717 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 67 goals, and his wife, Toni, welcomed Georgie and Summer into the world back in 2006.

He posted the image the same evening that Chelsea suffered their heaviest-ever defeat by Arsenal, with the Blues suffering a 5-0 thumping at the Emirates.

Fans reacted to the image by congratulating the club legend on his achievement, before urging him to ‘speak up’ amid the Blues’ torrid season.

One wrote: ‘At least there is something to be proud of, congrats John Terry !’ Another added: ‘You need to speak up, our club is going down.’ Another user wrote: ‘Bro we just got cooked 5-0 against Arsenal…’

The 43-year-old, who is currently working in Chelsea’s academy, would marry Toni at Blenheim Palace in June 2007, in a lavish ceremony that was said to have cost nearly £1million. Kast year, gifting his twins matching Mercedes cars for their 17th birthday while sharing a throwback video of them driving when they were younger.

The cars appeared to be the Mercedes A Class AMG Line Premium Plus, which cost around £41,000 when bought brnad new. Guests at the ceremony were said to have included a string of ex-footballing stars, including Micael Owen, Joe Cole and Jamie Redknapp – with Lionel Richie performing.

The matte black cars were seen parked in a driveway and had a blue ribbon and a pink ribbon on each bonnet.

He also shared two controversial videos showing the twins behind the wheel of a moving car on the road while they were still children.

The ex-professional regularly shares insights into his family life on his Instagram account, and has in the past shared a snap of himself and Summer at Stamford Bridge watching his former side. He also enjoyed a lavish trip to Dubai in December with Toni, posting several pictures of the pair on his Instagram, while writing: ‘Very lucky to get away for a few days golf and relaxation with @toniterry26’

Terry is Chelsea’s most successful ever captain, having won five Premier League titles and a Champions League . He holds the record for most clean sheets in the league at 214, and is the division’s top scoring defender with 41 to his name
