According to reports, the altercation began after an exchange of words between Jokic’s brothers and another fan. The situation quickly escalated, and at least one punch was thrown.
This is not the first time that Jokic’s brothers have been involved in confrontations. During the 2021 NBA Playoffs, Jokic and Phoenix’s Devin Booker got into an altercation that resulted in Jokic’s ejection. Jokic’s brothers were reportedly held back in the stands during that incident.
Nikola Jokic himself had a strong performance in Game 2 of the series, finishing with 27 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists. He grabbed an impressive 10 boards in the first quarter alone. The victory gives the Nuggets a 2-0 lead in the series, which now moves to Los Angeles for Game 3 on Thursday night.
