Jones Soda Co. is making significant moves in the cannabis market with its Mary Jones brand. The company announced two key expansions on Tuesday, marking its entry into Michigan and the introduction of a new product line in California.
In Michigan, Mary Jones is partnering with Emerald Canning Partners (ECP) to bring its full product portfolio to the state. This includes THC-infused mixing syrups, available in 4 fl oz bottles containing 200mg of THC, ideal for adding to drinks, desserts, or even waffles for a unique adult brunch experience. ECP will also manufacture and distribute Mary Jones cannabis sodas, both in single-serving 20mg THC bottles and shareable 100mg THC cans.
Meanwhile, in California, where Mary Jones first debuted in 2022, the brand is adding a new line of portable, shareable cannabis-infused shooters to its existing product offerings. Each 2 oz Mary Jones Shooter contains 10 servings infused with 10mg of THC, perfect for sipping on their own, sharing with friends, or mixing into other drinks like seltzer water or mocktails.
These expansions come at a strategic time, as Michigan has recently overtaken California as the top seller of legal cannabis in the US. This growth in the cannabis edibles market fuels Jones Soda’s confidence in its Mary Jones brand, which has been a key driver of growth for the company.
