Josh Hart, known for his modest three-point shooting in the regular season, has transformed into a potent marksman in the NBA Playoffs. Since the fourth quarter of Game 1 against the Philadelphia 76ers, Hart has connected on an astounding 7-for-9 from beyond the arc, including an impressive 4-for-5 in the first half of Game 2.
Hart’s sharpshooting has significantly boosted the Knicks’ offense, providing a consistent source of scoring and creating opportunities for his teammates. His basketball IQ was evident when he pulled up for his fourth three-pointer, earning three points and giving the Knicks a two-for-one advantage.
While Hart has denied Philadelphia’s Nicolas Batum, another surprise three-point performer in Game 1, he has been unable to contain Tyrese Maxey’s own three-point barrage, with Maxey connecting on four triples in the first half alone.
