Journey Mentor Partners with Total Air Services for Innovative Travel-Tech Solutions in Bangladesh

Journey Mentor, a leading provider of travel-tech SaaS solutions, has announced a significant five-year partnership with Total Air Services Ltd (TAS), a top aviation services provider and rapidly growing General Sales & Service Agent (GSSA) in Bangladesh. This collaboration will see Journey Mentor equipping TAS with its specialized suite of travel-tech tools, designed to enhance the operations of airlines, travel agents, General Sales Agents (GSAs), and other industry stakeholders.

The partnership aims to expand sales avenues, boost revenues, and improve overall customer service and experiences. The technology solutions to be adopted by TAS include a comprehensive Passenger Service System (PSS), a robust Global Distribution System (GDS) integration, and a user-friendly online booking engine. These integrated systems are designed to enhance profit margins, refine travel experiences, promote customer loyalty, and position TAS as a leader in the travel industry.

With these tools, TAS is set to offer unmatched travel services, manage competitive pricing effectively, streamline supplier interactions, and deliver exceptional tour experiences to its customers in Bangladesh. Founded in 2008, TAS is an acclaimed organization that provides a broad range of services, including logistics, aviation management, and travel and tourism, serving as both a GSA and General Cargo Sales Agent (GCSA) for major airlines like AirAsia, Kuwait Airways, and Maldivian (Island Aviation Services).

The travel market in Bangladesh has seen substantial growth recently, with key airports such as Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka handling 15.3 million passengers in fiscal year 2022-23, marking a 32% increase from the previous year. This growth is driven by a rise in domestic travel and an increase in migrant workers traveling abroad, according to data from the Civil Aviation Authority and the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS).
