Calling all pickle lovers! This summer’s K-Days festival promises a dill-icious experience with its 24 new food items. Prepare your taste buds for a pickle-themed adventure featuring delights like dill pickle cotton candy, pickle fry poutine, and the ultimate pickle poutine. The big “dill” dog, topped with onions, bacon, pickles, and dilly ranch sauce, is sure to satisfy your cravings. Another standout is the twisted pickle – a giant dill pickle on a stick, coated in batter and layered with flavors like Cheesy Flamin’ Cheetos.
But K-Days isn’t just about pickles. They’re offering twists on classic fair favorites, such as Takis mini donuts, fried Oreo ice cream sandwiches, and a giant mozza stick – on a stick! Dessert lovers can indulge in the new sour candy soft serve, a sour-infused soft ice cream topped with sour candies.
For those seeking refreshing beverages, aloe vera lemonade, featuring hibiscus tea and butterfly pea tea ice cubes, is a must-try. Aloha lemonade, with smashed lemons, pineapple, and coconut jellies, provides a tropical escape.
All the new food items will be entered into the K-Days New Foods Competition, where local judges will award the best savory dish, best sweet dish, best beverage, and people’s choice award. You can cast your vote for your favorites on the K-Days website.
Of course, the traditional midway favorites like cotton candy, corn dogs, and mini donuts will still be available throughout the festival grounds. This year’s K-Days festival runs from July 19 to 28, offering a summer full of fun, entertainment, and delectable treats.
