The announcement of the ‘Vultures 2’ release date came during Kanye West’s recent appearance on Justin LaBoy’s ‘The Download’ podcast. The album, which was initially conceived as a three-part series, will now consist of two volumes, with the third volume no longer being discussed during the interview. Confirmation of ‘Let Me Chill Out’ and Takeoff’s verse on the album was provided by Rolling Stone, which described the track as a ‘highlight track.’
Takeoff, who tragically passed away in 2022, has posthumously appeared on Quavo’s 2023 album, ‘Rocket Power.’ The original ‘Vultures 1’ album, released on February 10 via YZY, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, with its lead single, ‘Carnival,’ reaching the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
Despite the initial excitement surrounding the ‘Vultures’ project, there have been some setbacks and broken promises. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s disappointing Rolling Loud set and the cancellation of several ‘listening sessions’ left fans dissatisfied. West has also hinted at the possibility of releasing ‘Vultures 2’ exclusively through a paid download or a new streaming site, rather than a traditional rollout to digital service providers. However, the exact distribution plans for the album remain uncertain.
