Kanye West Continues to Attack Drake, Calls Him ‘Artificial’ and Plans to Destroy His Career

Kanye West’s relentless pursuit of Drake continues unabated. The rapper, who has already endured attacks from hip-hop heavyweights, now faces scrutiny from his self-proclaimed idol: Drake.

West and Drake have had a volatile relationship marked by highs and lows. However, West recently launched a full-scale assault on the “6 God.” He released a scathing remix of Drake’s “Like That” and used a podcast platform to proclaim Drake’s career as artificial. While West refrained from directly labeling him an industry plant, his insinuations were clear.

West’s skepticism extended to Drake’s diss track “Push Ups.” Despite the positive reception it received, West dismissed it as ineffective due to Drake’s perceived loss of relevance. “Drake’s bars don’t hold any weight anymore,” West opined. “Nobody cares about ‘drop and give me 50′ anymore.”

West’s criticisms have their roots in his unwavering belief that Drake’s popularity is manufactured. He pointed to the excessive radio play given to Drake and Kanye’s earlier collaboration “For Free” as evidence. “The music industry is controlled by middle men who dictate what’s popular,” West asserted. “They’re the ones deciding what diamonds cost, and Drake is just a product of that system.”

It’s worth noting that West’s claims come despite his own involvement in Drake’s success. Drake co-wrote the chorus for West’s hit “Yikes” in 2018, but was not officially credited due to an oversight by West’s team.

Despite their past collaborations, West is determined to end Drake’s reign. “We gon’ tear the head off whoever they thought was in control,” he vowed. “Pack that boy up.” Time will tell whether West and his allies succeed in their mission to dethrone Drake.
