Karachi Roads Blocked Ahead of Iranian President’s Visit

Due to security measures, the Karachi administration has commenced blocking roads before Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi’s scheduled visit to Karachi on Tuesday. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended warm greetings to the Iranian president, and banners displaying these messages have been placed along Sharea Faisal, Karachi’s main artery.

As part of the traffic management plan, several major roads have been closed. MA Jinnah Road has been blocked from Guru Mandir with containers, while the road leading from Shahra-e-Quaideen to Numaish has also been closed. Additionally, containers have been strategically placed around the People’s Secretariat.

To ensure security, police units have been stationed at various key locations. The situation is being closely monitored, and further updates will be provided as they become available.
