Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has directed the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) to re-conduct the Gazetted Probationers’ examination within two months. This decision comes in response to allegations of inaccurate Kannada translations in the original exam paper.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Chief Minister emphasized the need to ensure fairness for all candidates. He stated that the re-examination will be conducted within a timeframe of two months to guarantee a level playing field for all participants.
The original Gazetted Probationers’ examination was conducted by the KPSC, which is responsible for recruiting candidates for various government positions in the state. The alleged errors in the Kannada translations of the question paper sparked concerns about the exam’s integrity and fairness, prompting the Chief Minister’s swift action to address the issue.
