The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the postponement of the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024. The exam, originally scheduled for July 13th and 14th, has been moved to a later date due to numerous requests from students.
Many students had expressed concern about the clash between the PGCET dates and their final semester university exams, which are set to begin on July 5th and 10th. Recognizing the students’ need to focus on their final exams, KEA has decided to reschedule the PGCET 2024. The new exam dates will be announced soon on the KEA website.
In addition to the postponement, KEA has also reopened the registration window for the Karnataka PGCET 2024. Students can now register for the exam starting today, June 26th, and the window will remain open until July 7th at 11:59 PM. The deadline for payment of the registration fee is July 9th at 6:00 PM.
The registration fee for General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates is Rs 650, while for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, the fee is Rs 500. Payments can be made using credit cards, debit cards, UPI, or net banking.
Candidates are advised to visit the KEA website regularly for updates on the new exam dates and other important information.
