Kejriwal, Kavitha’s Custody Extended in Money Laundering Case

A Delhi court on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and BRS leader K Kavitha in connection with a money laundering case pertaining to the alleged excise scam. The extension was granted till May 7th. Special judge for CBI and ED matters, Kaveri Baweja, extended their custody through video conference as their previous remand expired. Kavitha, who is a Telangana MLC and the daughter of former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, also had her judicial custody extended till May 7th in the related corruption case being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
