Addressing AAP workers, Kejriwal expressed gratitude to the Supreme Court for granting him bail for the election campaign. He emphasized that he campaigned not only for AAP but also for various other parties across the country, prioritizing the nation over party interests. Kejriwal highlighted that the Prime Minister had acknowledged the lack of evidence against him during the election campaign.
Stressing his innocence, Kejriwal conveyed to the people of Delhi that he was not going to jail for corruption but for raising his voice against dictatorship. He expressed uncertainty about the duration and treatment he would face during his imprisonment but remained defiant. Quoting Bhagat Singh, Kejriwal asserted that when power becomes dictatorial, jail becomes a responsibility and sacrifice for the nation.
Kejriwal dismissed the accuracy of exit polls, emphasizing the importance of remaining optimistic and discouraged by such predictions. He declared that the election was not about any particular party or leader but about protecting the country.
