Kevin O’Leary, the renowned investor and star of ‘Shark Tank,’ has issued a warning to Democrats about their presidential nominee, Kamala Harris. During a recent appearance on Fox News, O’Leary expressed his apprehension about Harris’s chances, suggesting that the party might be repeating the mistake they made with Hillary Clinton in 2016.
O’Leary pointed out that the Democrats did not conduct a thorough selection process for their nominee, claiming they missed an opportunity to engage in a more comprehensive vetting process. He likened the party’s approach to selling a business without considering multiple offers, arguing that a strategic decision-making process is crucial in politics, just as it is in business.
“It’s 50-50, she may win, she may lose. This whole party, the Democratic Party, is going to revisit what happened here because they did the same thing with Hillary Clinton. It was assumed she would win, they anointed her, she lost,” O’Leary said during the interview.
O’Leary’s remarks come after the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, where Harris was officially nominated as the party’s presidential candidate. His warning highlights the potential risks associated with the party’s decision, emphasizing the importance of a comprehensive selection process and strategic decision-making.
The upcoming election is shaping up to be a closely contested race, and O’Leary’s cautionary words serve as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of politics. As the Democratic Party gears up for the campaign, O’Leary’s concerns about a potential repeat of the 2016 election scenario will likely fuel debate and scrutiny of the party’s approach to the nomination process.
