King Charles has decided to spend his summers with his daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton. This decision comes as both Charles and Kate are battling cancer, and they hope to spend more time together amid their separate health battles.
According to Closer Weekly, Charles has discussed with Kate the possibility of spending the summer together at Balmoral, along with her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Sources say that Kate may spend time at Balmoral with Charles before the rest of the family arrives, and she is expected to bring the children without extended family members.
This decision to spend time together comes after an insider revealed that Kate, whom Charles considers a “daughter he never had,” tries to lift his spirits despite battling cancer herself. A source told In Touch Weekly that “Kate always lifts Charles’ spirits by giving him things to look forward to in the future. He’s really into nature, so if she sees something or a place that they can go to together when they’re feeling up to it, she shares that with him.”
