King’s Island Reopens with a Bang
King’s Island in Mason, Ohio has reopened after a major renovation, bringing with it a host of new attractions, rides, and even updated dining options.
New Rides and Attractions
One of the most anticipated new attractions is the Snoopy’s Soap Box Racers roller coaster. This cartoon-themed ride is perfect for the whole family and is part of a larger opening this year at King’s Island called Camp Snoopy.
Another new addition to the park is Beagle Scout Acres, a camping-themed play zone where kids can run, crawl, play, or relax with their families in a shaded, comfortable space. The campsite includes interactive equipment, tents to climb through, and paths in the shape of Woodstock’s feet.
More Dining Options
In addition to the new attractions, King’s Island also has several new dining options to choose from, catering to a variety of tastes and allergies. Executive chef Joseph Perez recommends the double patty chicken burger from The Brewhouse for a healthier option, or the cheesy hot dog from Pig Pen’s Mess Hall for a more traditional park food experience.
