Jessa Pieters played a pivotal role in the triumph, going 2-for-2 at the plate with a colossal home run, her second of the season, and contributing four crucial RBIs.
Reese Whitzell also made a significant impact for the Dragons, collecting three hits and driving in four runs. Kingsway’s relentless offense exploded in the first inning, scoring an impressive nine runs to establish a commanding lead. Emily Leshik, the winning pitcher, teamed up with Pieters to deliver a masterful performance on the mound. Their combined three-hitter, complemented by six strikeouts, effectively silenced the Williamstown offense.
Despite the loss, Jessica Gramley managed to secure a single for Williamstown, adding to her team-leading nine hits this season. The Kingsway Dragons remain undefeated with a remarkable 12-0 record, showcasing their dominance in high school softball.
