Kirk Cousins’ Positive Impact on Falcons
Despite only recently joining the Falcons, quarterback Kirk Cousins has already made a notable impression on the organization. During Tuesday’s pre-draft press conference, General Manager Terry Fontenot highlighted Cousins’ positive impact through the first few weeks of the offseason program.
“He truly is [a multiplier],” Fontenot said of Cousins. “The work that he does. He sits right in the front of Raheem’s meeting. Notes, everything, he’s like a nerd up there. He’s obsessed with it. That’s been great.”
Fontenot further emphasized the alignment between Cousins’ character and the culture they are striving to build within the team.
While still recovering from a torn Achilles suffered during the 2023 season, Cousins remains optimistic about his recovery and anticipates being at “full speed” by training camp. Fontenot expressed confidence in Cousins’ dedication to preparing himself both physically and mentally for the upcoming season.
