Knicks Steal Home-Court Advantage in Game 2 with DiVincenzo’s Clutch Three

The New York Knicks overcame a five-point deficit with less than a minute remaining to defeat the Philadelphia 76ers 104-101 in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series on Monday night.

Jalen Brunson’s three-pointer with 27 seconds left brought the Knicks within two points, and after a steal by Josh Hart, Donte DiVincenzo converted a crucial three-pointer to put the Knicks back in front.

Isaiah Hartenstein then blocked Tyrese Maxey’s shot, and OG Anunoby made two free throws to give the Knicks a 104-101 lead.

Joel Embiid missed a three-pointer at the buzzer, and the Knicks held on for the victory.

Brunson finished with 24 points, while Hart added 21 points and 15 rebounds. DiVincenzo contributed with 19 points.

Maxey led the 76ers with 35 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds, while Embiid added 34 points and 10 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Embiid remains confident that the 76ers will come back in the series.

“We’re going to win this series, we know what we’ve got to fix and we did a better job today, so we’re going to fix it,” Embiid said. “But we’re the better team and we’re going to keep fighting.”
