Knicks Stun 76ers in Game 2, Take 2-0 Series Lead

The New York Knicks rallied from behind to stun the Philadelphia 76ers, taking a 2-0 lead in their Eastern Conference first-round series.

With 13.1 seconds remaining, Donte DiVincenzo sank a go-ahead 3-pointer, capping an 8-0 run by the Knicks. Jalen Brunson had tied the game with a 3-pointer seconds earlier.

The 76ers had overcome an eight-point deficit with a 19-6 run, but they couldn’t hold on. Joel Embiid, who finished with 34 points and 10 rebounds, missed a potential game-tying 3-pointer as time expired.

Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 35 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds. Josh Hart had a double-double for the Knicks, finishing with 21 points and 15 rebounds. Brunson added 24 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Game 3 of the best-of-seven series is scheduled for Thursday night in Philadelphia.
