A horrific knife attack at a dance class in Southport, England, has left two children dead and nine others injured, six critically. The incident, which occurred on Monday, has shocked the community and the nation.
A 17-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder in connection with the attack. Two adults were also critically injured in the attack. The attack took place at a property hosting a Taylor Swift-themed dance class for young children, shortly before midday.

The injured were treated at the scene and then transported by ambulance and helicopter to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and other local hospitals. The hospital declared a major incident in response.
The suspect remains in custody, and police are continuing their investigation to determine the motive behind this tragic incident.
