The upcoming X-Men #700, which also marks the 35th issue in the current volume, will feature a stunning variant cover by Scott Koblish that encapsulates the entire 61-year history of Marvel’s merry mutants.
Koblish’s wraparound illustration showcases hundreds of characters from the X-Men’s vast history, including core X-Men members, obscure mutants, supervillains, allies, and superhero guest stars. It’s a veritable Where’s Waldo for X-Men fans, with so many characters depicted that it’s almost impossible to name them all.
In addition to X-Men #700, Koblish’s variant cover will also appear on all three of the core titles of the current X-Men relaunch: X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, and Exceptional X-Men.
X-Men #700/35, along with the variant cover by Scott Koblish, goes on sale on June 5th.
