The festival, which took place from October 19 to 20, attracted enthusiastic crowds eager to immerse themselves in the excitement of Korean culture. Adding a touch of star power, actor Anushka Sen, an esteemed ambassador of Korea Tourism, energized the audience and celebrated Korea’s rich cultural legacy.

Building Bridges: The Korea Tourism Roadshow 2024

Prior to the main festival, the Korea Tourism Roadshow 2024 took place on October 18 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, bringing together nearly 400 participants from India’s travel industry. This B2B event facilitated over 1,000 successful meetings between 17 exhibitors, including Destination Management Companies, leading attractions like the K-Beauty brand Jenny House and the JUMP performance team, and airlines such as Korean Air and Air India. The Roadshow laid the groundwork for long-term business collaborations between India and Korea, ensuring the continued growth of tourism and cultural exchange between the two nations.

The Roadshow concluded with a Gala Night attended by over 350 guests, featuring prominent figures from the Indian travel industry. Padma Shri Awardee and Super 30 Founder, Mr. Anand Kumar, graced the occasion as an Honorary Ambassador of Korea Tourism, further solidifying the event’s success. Fellow Honorary Ambassador, Anushka Sen, brought her vibrant energy to the celebration, while the evening also honored KTO’s travel industry partners, recognizing prominent Online Travel Agencies and travel agents for their contributions to boosting tourism between India and Korea.
